Iβm a mom of two young adults, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and an educator who retired unexpectedly in 2019. I grew up in Eastern Ontario, Canada, and actually attended the same high school as my co-host, Dave! Once I completed my English degree and Education degree at Queenβs University, I headed to Northwestern Ontario to teach English and Math at the high school level for several years, worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Education for two years, and eventually became a vice-principal in another school board. In 1999, my husband and I moved to Central Ontario and started our family. This was my third and final school board in which I finished my career as an elementary school principal.
In my spare time (which I have more of now that Iβm retired!), I enjoy playing golf, time spent with friends and family, and volunteering with a few community organizations that are near and dear to my heart. I also take far more pictures than I need to of our family cat, Rue, but thatβs mostly for the benefit of our two young adult children who have moved out and are missing the cat more than they miss me.
Meet Rue!

I was born and raised in Eastern Ontario, Canada. I grew up working in my Mom and Dadβs small fishing tackle and souvenir shop before heading off to college where I learned all about radio broadcasting. After working a couple of years in radio, I returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Education at Queenβs University.
I taught students in grades 4 to 6 and I also had a career working for the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario. I have lived just outside of Toronto for the past 33 years. My hobbies include golf, curling and hiking and of course I am a fan of our Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs. My wife and I have two children who are both attending university.
Meet my family dog, Pippa!
